Why Stormy Life Jackets must be serviced by professionals

The Stormy Life Jacket is taken apart with the inflation system removed to be thoroughly inspected and tested. Both the manual and oral inflation systems are tested, as is the C0₂ canister. The inflation chamber is also pressure tested. Once approved it is reassembled and installed back into the Stormy life jacket, life vest or PFD.

For an additional fee the life jacket or life vest is professionally cleaned while the inflation system is removed.

Upon conclusion the owner is issued with a service certificate to prove the life jacket complies with all regulations.
